Delays

What are delays?

Delays are the refresh rate that the bot uses to navigate the site, for example if you have the delay set to 2,000ms the bot will be refreshing the site every 2 seconds. Pretty much all bots use milliseconds as the delay interval to get a more precise input.

Delays are also used when checking out, this is the amount of time the bot will wait until proceeding to the next checkout step.

What are the different types of delays?

There are 2 main types of delays, Monitor delays & Restock delays

Monitor delays determine how frequent the bot searches/refreshes the keywords you provided to it

Restock delays are used for how often you want the bot to retry checking out an item when it is sold out

What should my delays be?

If you are planning to start your tasks before a release your delays should be at least 10,000ms

Once you get closer to the set release time you can lower your delays from anywhere from 1,000-3,000ms

The reason you wouldn't want to put the delay super low at like 100 is because your task(s) will likely get flagged and throttled, this means that your task will essentially be frozen and unable to complete the checkout.

After the first 20-30s of a release/restock you should raise your delays back up to around 5,000ms due to a lower likelihood of your tasks/proxy getting throttled and temporarily banned.
