Shopify Features
Proxy Protection
Shopify offers a feature called "Proxy Protection" that helps merchants protect their online store from fraudulent orders, scraping bots, and other malicious activities.
Proxy protection helps ensure that orders placed on a Shopify store are coming from a trusted source, by checking the IP address of the buyer against a list of known proxy servers. If an order is placed from an IP address that is known to be associated with a proxy server, the order may be flagged for review or automatically declined, helping to prevent fraudulent activity on the store.
Checkpoint
Shopify recaptcha is a feature that integrates the Google reCAPTCHA tool into the Shopify platform. reCAPTCHA is a free service that helps protect websites from spam and abuse by requiring users to complete a simple challenge (such as identifying images of cars, buses, or traffic lights) before they can submit a form or complete a transaction.
